Jonah McLean is a singer-songwriter from Warkworth, Ontario, blending americana and folk to create an earthy feel with songs about love, getting older, and the little things that stick with you.
His songs tend to start somewhere ordinary. A conversation that keeps playing in your head, a familiar road, or someone you haven't seen in years. The kind of moments you don't think much about until they become memories.
Influenced by artists like Neil Young, Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, and Ray LaMontagne, Jonah approaches his music with an emphasis on storytelling, natural performances, and letting each song find its own sound. Whether stripped back or backed by a full band, the songs feel as real as the stories behind them.
