Jonah McLean writes songs for people learning how to remember without wishing they could go back.

A Canadian singer-songwriter who blends folk, indie and Americana, Jonah has always been drawn to the little moments that are easy to miss—a quiet drive home, the change of seasons, an old photograph, a conversation that stays with you longer than expected. He writes songs about those moments because they're often the ones that end up changing us the most.

His music is built around warm acoustic guitars, upright bass, close harmonies, and light percussion that leaves room for imperfections. He believes the best songs don't need to have all the answers. They just need to tell the truth.

Influenced by storytellers like Neil Young, Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, and Ray LaMontagne, Jonah writes songs that feel like rediscovering an old journal. They're about love, growing older, moving on, and finding something worth keeping from every chapter of life.
